CREATING SPACE FOR NATIVE VOICES, COMMUNITIES, & FUTURE GENERATIONS
Smoke Johnson partners with communities, organizations, and leaders to create meaningful impact through advocacy, program development, and cultural connection.
Hi, I’m Smoke
My work is really about connection—
to culture,
to community,
and to future generations.
I work closely with all Native people from different walks of life, creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
A lot of what I do comes down to listening, sharing stories, and building something meaningful together.
“My purpose on mother earth is to be of service to my people and to help create a world in which the next seven generations can thrive.”
— Smoke JohnsonWho I Work With
I work with Native people and organizations, along with individuals navigating identity, healing, and life transitions.
That often includes Native youth and women, adoptees, single mothers, and people in recovery.
I also work alongside non-Native organizations and community partners who are seeking guidance in creating culturally relevant, inclusive, and respectful environments.
This space is for anyone looking for real connection, support, and a place to feel understood.
PROGRAM & PROJECT SUPPORT
I help bring programs and ideas to life in a way that actually serves the community—from early planning to execution.
SUPPORT SPACES
I create spaces for Native youth, women, and individuals navigating identity, healing, and recovery to feel supported and not alone.
CULTURAL GUIDANCE
I work with organizations and individuals to help them approach Native communities in a way that is respectful, thoughtful, and grounded in understanding
EVENT & COMMUNITY GATHERINGS
I help plan and lead events that bring people together—creating space for connection, learning, and real conversation.
SPEAKING & STORYTELLING
I speak on identity, community, and lived experience—bringing honest, real conversations into the spaces that need them.
GUIDED BY THE 7TH GENERATION
What that means—and why it matters
The 7th Generation principle reminds us that the decisions we make today shape the lives of those who come after us. It is a way of thinking rooted in responsibility, community, and long-term impact.
